STANLEY boss John Coleman is still reeling after his side conceded EIGHT goals on a night to forget at London Road.

The Reds were torn apart by Darren Ferguson's men.

George Boyd and Aaron McLean shared centre stage.

Posh powered into a 4-0 interval advantage as a Boyd brace - including a glorious volley - was sandwiched by Craig Mackail-Smith's opener and a fourth for McLean.

The flow of Posh goals was interrupted as Paul Mullin struck for Stanley seconds after the interval from Ian Craney's cross and when substitute Shaun Whalley cut the arrears further the London Road crowd appeared restless.

But Boyd completed his treble in the 76th minute with another strike from the edge of the area before McLean followed suit with two goals in four minutes, his second of the game into the bottom left corner and his treble from Adam Newton's cross.

The man who started to drubbing had the last laugh with Mackail-Smith netting in the 89th minute, McLean the architect with a neat pass.
