The former Lyon man could feature this evening when his side take on Malawi once again (KO 5pm).
And Nathan Collins was an unused substitute as the Republic of Ireland ran out 2-0 winners against Azerbaijan.
The Clarets return to Premier League action this weekend to take on reigning champions Manchester City at the Etihad.
