ROBBIE Blake came off the bench to end Burnley's 12-week wait for a home win.
The 31-year-old changed the game almost immediately after replacing Steve Jones 11 minutes into the second half.
After dragging a right-foot shot wide from Graham Alexander's throughball, Blake finished well on the volley from Wade Elliott's cutback to hand Owen Coyle his first Turf Moor win since taking charge two months ago.
And had it not been for a brilliant save by Luke McCormick, and with a little more composure, the silky striker might even have celebrated a hat-trick.
It was a welcome turnaround after an opening half in which chances were limited, depsite Burnley dominating possession.
Half chances fell to Elliott, Joey Gudjonsson, Jones and Andy Gray but McCormick didn't have a save to make until Blake's introduction.
