BURNLEY dominated first-half possession but weren't able to capitalise on it and break the deadlock.
Half-chances fell to Wade Elliott, Joey Gudjonsson, Steve Jones and Andy Gray but Luke McCormick didn't have a save to make before the break.
Brian Jensen was barely called into action either, with Lilian Nalis' near post header from a second minute free kick his only real test of the opening 45 minutes.
Jones had the best chance to put the Clarets ahead seconds before the break but thumped a header from Elliott's right-wing cross wide.
