ROVERS Ladies have been drawn at home to Premier League rivals Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Women's Cup.
The tie will be played at Clitheroe FC's Shawbridge stadium on Sunday January 27 (kick-off 1pm).
Rovers progressed to the fifth round courtesy of a comfortable 4-1 victory at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, with prolific striker Katie Anderton scoring twice.
Manager Adam Lakeland said: "Obviously, we're happy to be at home, and I feel that, on our day, we can beat anyone in this league, with the exception of Arsenal, so we can't complain with the draw.
"However, Liverpool have become our bogey team somewhat this season. In our three meetings to date, we've only taken one point off them in the league and were knocked out of the Premier League Cup by them.
"But I genuinely feel that we've played the better football and arguably deserved to win all three games. Liverpool certainly had elements of luck in each game, but you have to give them credit, as they've beaten us twice and held us once.
"As a result, the pressure will be on them now, so for us it's a game we can go out and enjoy - and hopefully make amends for the disappointment we've had in the past."
The draw, which was made on Monday lunchtime, has conjured up three all-National Division ties, whilst there will be at least one club from outside the top flight in the quarter-finals as Lincoln City have been paired with Portsmouth.
Two goals in each half was enough for Rovers to advance to the last 16 of the competition at the expense of Brighton, whom they had defeated 8-0 in the first round of this season's Premier League Cup.
FA Cup, fifth round draw: Chelsea v Leeds United; Cardiff City v Doncaster Rovers Belles; Watford v Newcastle United; Lincoln City v Portsmouth; Leicester City v Everton; ROVERS v Liverpool; Fulham v Sunderland or Birmingham City; Arsenal v West Ham United
