Turf Moor transfer speculation is hotting up just over a week after the window opened.
West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed the Clarets enquired about the availability of Richard Chaplow.
And the Accrington-born midfielder, who was sold to Albion for £1.5million three years ago, has been told he can leave The Hawthorns this month for the right price - thought to be at least £1million.
However, a return seems unlikely for the midfielder.
Meanwhile, Hearts winger Andrew Driver has also been linked with the Clarets.
But as I understand it there hasn't been contact between the two clubs about the Oldham-born 20-year-old.
