BURNLEY made it 14 wins on the trot thanks to a hard-fought victory over Old Bedians.
The North Lancs One high-flyers, currently in second place, show little signs of rustiness following the Christmas break as they ran in three tries - all made in the back row.
Flanker Laurie Smith scored a brace while South African number eight Gerrit Schinkel crashed over to touch down.
All three conversions were missed but Richard Griffiths added a penalty.
Chairman Phil Harbour has now set his sights on joining Blackburn and Rossendale in North Lancs/Cumbria - but that's only if they don't get promoted.
"It would be great to have all three teams in the same division but the way Blackburn and Rossendale are going, it looks like they might get promoted as well.
"We are on a really good run at the moment and have set our sights on promotion."
