FORMER Burnley defender Lee Dixon believes an FA Cup upset at Turf Moor today is possible.
But he has warned Clarets fans to expect a strong Arsenal side to travel to East Lancashire for the third round tie.
Arsenal legend Dixon, who played just four times for Burnley in the early 1980s after serving his apprenticeship at Turf Moor, went on to become a key component in arguably the most famous back four in the English football's modern era at Highbury.
Nearly 23 years after leaving the North West, he now forms part of the BBC Match of the Day team covering tomorrow's tie with the Premier League leaders.
And he refused to rule out the possibility of an FA Cup shock.
He said: "A lot of thought goes into choosing which matches get broadcast on TV and the reason this one has been chosen is because there is the chance of an upset.
"I know Burnley's recent results haven't been what they perhaps hoped, but a game like this should give the fans a lift and there is always a chance of an upset."
