COVENTRY City manager Iain Dowie has identified David Bentley as the man his players need to stop if the Sky Blues are to pull off an FA Cup giantkilling at Ewood Park tomorrow.
Dowie fears the in-form wideman has the ability to single-handedly destroy his side's FA Cup dreams if he is allowed to click into top gear.
"I tried to sign him on loan when I was the manager of Crystal Palace.
"He has always been a mercurial talent," said the Coventry boss.
"I remember watching him against Barnet reserves and he hit a set-piece that was very Beckham-esque, and he was only 18 or 19 at the time.
"He has since developed and he's really flourishing at Blackburn, where he is arguably now their best player."
