A TEENAGE fullback on trial with Burnley this week has been described as one of the best young talents in Ireland.
Seamus Coleman, defender at Sligo Rovers, played for the Clarets in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bolton in midweek.
He has already made a big impression in his homeland, and, at the age of 19, has been called up by manager Don Givens to the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad.
Irish sports writer Daniel McDonnell said: "There is plenty of emerging young talent but Seamus Coleman arguably has the brightest future of them all.
"The Donegal native has burst onto the scene as an energetic right back who has quality going forward.
"Already, the teenager has made his Irish Under 21 debut and impressed Don Givens in the process. It won't be long before the vultures are circling."
Sligo are managed by former Burnley midfielder Paul Cook.
The season in Ireland is now finished.
