ACCRINGTON STANLEY boss John Coleman hailed his side's character as they came back to win 2-1 at Blundell Park yesterday.
The Reds trailed to Nick Hegarty's eighth-minute goal but hit back with goals from Paul Mullin and Andy Procter to take the points.
Coleman said: "We played some good football in the first half and I thought we were the better team and it was disappointing to go behind the way we did.
"On some other days we may have gone into our shells and lost the game. But we showed a bit of resilience and determination and I think we fully deserved to win.
"The lads went out there with a bit more belief in the second half and it shows the character of the players is growing."
