CLARETS captain Steven Caldwell is back in the starting line-up after a two-month injury lay-off.
The central defender has not featured since suffering thigh tendon damage in the home defeat to Southampton at the end of October.
But after completing 90 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Bolton Wanderers in midweek, when he scored in a 1-1 draw, he has been named alongside David Unsworth in the heart of defence, as Burnley seek to extend their winning away run to five games at Ipswich this afternoon.
Alan Mahon misses out with a hamstring problem but Kyle Lafferty (knee) has been passed fit.
