NELSON manager Denny Khan is relishing tomorrow's challenge from Division One pace-setters Salford City.
The Blues are keen to get back into action after seeing their last two homes games postponed due to an unplayable pitch.
"The lads are desperate to play," said Khan. "It will be a good test for us at Salford, they are one of the best sides in the league."
Ed O'Neill is away on holiday, while Nelson have issued seven days notice to capture Darwen winger Dennis Hill.
