TEN-MAN Bacup Borough struggled to get going against Runcorn and were soundly beaten.
Thomas Lamb scored in the 23rd minute, and again in 45th minute from the penalty spot, as Bacup went down to 10 men.
Borough held out in the second-half, until a flurry of goals in the game's final 10 minutes.
Michael Young and Michael Grogan, both scored in the 84th minute, and Young got his second in the 89th minute straight from a corner.
Bacup grabbed a last minute consolation from Tony Carroll.
l The Division One derby match between Nelson and Colne was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
