ROSSENDALE United boss Derek Egan was happy to see his side snatch a last gasp draw thanks to a terrific strike from Phil Eastwood.
The Stags forward rescued his side with a late equaliser from outside the box against Woodley Sports, who took the lead midway through the first-half.
United have enjoyed a good record in the past at the Lambeth Stadium.
But Egan admits that his side struggled to hit top gear in Stockport.
"I'd be lying if I said it was a good game," said the Rossendale boss.
"Both teams cancelled each other out to a certain extent and, in fairness to Woodley Sports, they were the better side.
"That disappointed me because we usually go there and play reasonably well.
"But we've been playing well recently and losing games.
"If you'd have asked me before the game whether I wanted a good performance or points on the board, I would have took the points.
"We did not pass the ball particularly well, and did not get enough crosses in, but we've managed to get a point - and I'm happy with that."
Egan added: "It was a good goal from Phil Eastwood. I thought it was probably deserved because we put them under a lot of pressure late on, without playing that well."
Rossendale are back in action next Saturday when they travel to Ossett Albion.
l Chorley's game at Radcliffe Borough, and Clitheroe's match at Wakefield were both postponed due to frozen pitches.
Chorley's game at Radcliffe will now take place tomorrow (7.45pm).
