BURNLEY showed their love of the television cameras again in this first half at Molineux by roaring into a 3-1 lead against Wolves.
Manager Owen Coyle named an unchanged side for the fifth successive match as he aimed to preserve his 100 per cent record on the road.
And it was the Clarets who were first to threaten when a neat interchange between strikers Andy Gray and Robbie Blake saw the latter take a tumble inside the area.
But referee Steve Tanner waved all the Burnley claims away.
At the other end Stephen Elliott failed to get his head onto a dangerous ball from Darron Gibson.
And midfielder Seyi Olofinjana had a long range effort deflected wide as Wolves enjoyed an early spell of dangerous pressure.
But Burnley weathered the storm and were only denied the opener courtesy of an inspired piece of goalkeeping from Wayne Hennessey.
The Welshman first parried Alan Mahon's piledriver and, when it looked like top scorer Andy Gray was about to notch another goal, Hennessey smothered the striker's shot.
However, the keeper quickly went from hero to villain just minutes later when he spilled a Blake free kick into his own net.
The lead only last five minutes though as Wolves drew level through Gibson, who blasted Stephen Ward's cross in off the post.
But they were soon back in front again thanks to a sublime cross from Elliott and an assured finishing touch from Northern Irishman Kyle Lafferty.
And their lead was more comfortable minutes before the break when Clark Carlisle's back post header was deflected into his own net by Ward.
