JOHN Coleman suggested MK Dons boss Paul Ince would have been made up' after seeing Accrington Stanley surrender to defeat in midweek.
Ince was among those witnessing Stanley capitulate to 10-man Rochdale at the Fraser Eagle Stadium, taking a watching brief ahead of tomorrow's League Two clash.
The former Liverpool and Manchester United midfielder picked the right occasion to see the Reds turn in one of their worst displays of the season.
But Coleman has warned it will be a different ball game at the mk:stadium, against the division's table table-toppers.
Seething at his side's sluggish performance - especially in defence - the Reds boss has threatened to wield the axe in the January transfer window if he sees a repeat.
"Mark my words, you will see a different performance from us and a different side," said Coleman.
"If you don't see a different side, then about eight or nine could be on their way in January.
"We will go there full of confidence, because of our away form.
"But we've lost four games at home now on the bounce and it's bitterly disappointing.
"We are capable of getting a result against anyone, but we are also capable of throwing away a game against anybody."
One of Coleman's major concerns is his defence, and their weakness at set-pieces.
Time and again on Wednesday night, the Reds were second best from deliveries into their penalty box, and their fate was sealed when Glen Murray was unmarked to power home Adam Rundle's corner.
Coleman added: "Conceding from a set-play is bitterly disappointing because we work time and time again on them, short of hammering a nail in someone's head and putting a sign on it.
"But if they can't take on the information we are giving them, somebody else will have to take on that information.
"We talk about it and talk about it, but the players have got to do it out on the pitch and do it right.
"We are not getting enough players who are doing the right things at the moment.
"There's two things I hate - losing a two-goal lead and losing against 10 men.
"We've done both in the last couple of weeks - against Huddersfield and Rochdale - and both at home."
