WEDNESDAY night's game with Aston Villa caused quite a stir in the media - but not for events on the pitch!
Several journalists in the national press have been bombarding the club over the last few days, desperately trying to find out more details about the cheerleaders who provided the half-time entertainment.
Why? Because, unusually, one of the group happened to be a teenage boy.
Incidentally, the cheerleading group was put together by the community team at Rovers with the intention of getting more people interested in women's football.
However, Wednesday night's performance was so well received, you might see them performing again at Ewood in the not-too-distant future.
