BLACKBURN Rovers star David Bentley recently won an England cap - so you would think everyone would know his name.
But the midfielder's name has been spelled incorrectly on both his strip and the club calendar.
Thousands of spectators and fans noticed the spelling error on the midfielder's strip worn during the match against Manchester United on November 11 - it read "Betnley".
It was the second time his name had been misspelt - in the official Blackburn Rovers 2007 calendar, the 23-year-old's November page reads "David Bently".
A spokesman for the club said it wasn't known whether the mistake was made by Rovers or the printers.
The misspelt strip was an error made at Ewood Park, either at the club shop or the training ground.
