BLACKBURN Knights chairman Don McCoombe believes the mid-season break could not have come soon enough for his beleagued side who suffered their second successive 60 point thrashing.
The Knights don't play again until the New Year and McCoombe is hoping his side can start afresh in January following a 66-4 defeat against Woolston Rovers.
He said: "In the next few weeks, we will all sit down and have a chat about the way things are going and the way forward.
"But, at the moment, we are playing like a team with no confidence."
There have been big chances at the club who have changed its name and have set up home at Blackburn RUFC's Ramsgreave Drive "I always said we would get it right off the pitch first then concentrate on playing matters.
"We have some superb faciilites at Ramsgreave Drive now it is up to us to get the right blend of players on the pitch."
