STANLEY stopper Kenny Arthur is stepping up his rehabilitation in training as he works his way back to fitness from a broken leg.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper - who joined the Reds from Partick Thistle this summer - is recovering from an operation after breaking his right fibula in the League Two victory over Bradford on October 2.
Stanley boss John Coleman has been pleased with Arthur's progress as the Scottish goalkeeper - 29 on Friday- steps up his workload in training sessions, although he is not expected to be ready for a first-team return until the end of January.
"Kenny's been doing some light training," said Coleman. "We are hoping he's going to be ready to join in with some outfield football training in a couple of weeks."
"We are very, very confident that he will be back before the end of January."
