BURNLEY'S operational director Brendan Flood feels the FA Cup draw pitting the Clarets against Arsenal has come at the right time following back-to-back wins in the capital.

He said: "Owen rang me to tell me who we had drawn and I said to him 'I'm sure any London club would be afraid of us now after this week!'

"We're obviously having a good spell against London teams and, if there's such a thing as luck and fate, it might have come at the right time for us.

"You can't ask for anything else. Arsenal or Manchester United or Chelsea would be the first teams you would mention.

"But Arsenal in particular are an exciting team to watch and it would be a preference for a lot of people from a football neutral's point of view and for us to measure ourselves up against quality players of that ilk.

"It will be a great experience for the players. It's been shown in the Carling Cup who deep the quality of Arsenal's squad is.

"They are well known for the depth of talent they have in their Academy through their French scouting system.

"But I'm sure whatever side they put out, it will be of top six Premiership standard.

"However, it's 11 men against 11 on the day and, hopefully, we can make them feel uncomfortable."

The club don't yet know if the game will be televised,, but Flood added: "We wouldn't be surprised if they requested it as a live game, but we'll probably know that in the next couple of days.

"Hopefully everyone will come out, our supporters in general will want to come and see a spectacle and it would be great to get a full house."
