BURNLEY chairman Barry Kilby was delighted after having his FA Cup wish granted, as the Clarets prepare to entertain Premier League giants Arsenal in the Third Round.

In a conversation with manager Owen Coyle yesterday morning, Kilby revealed his ideal draw, and was amazed when it came to fruition.

"I actually spoke to the manager on Sunday morning and when he asked who I wanted, I replied, 'Arsenal at home', that was some clairvoyancy," he said.

"But seriously, I don't think we could have asked for anything more.

"It's a fantastic draw for Burnley and it will be great to see some top, top players at Turf Moor for what is sure to be an amazing day.

"I'm sure we will have a full house and we look forward to welcoming Arsenal to Turf Moor and pitting ourselves against one of the best teams in the world."

Coyle, who scored against Arsenal for Bolton in a 2-2 draw at Burnden Park in January 1994, was equally delighted with drawing the Gunners for what will be his first ever FA Cup game as a manager.

And he is anticipating a sell-out.

"It's a fantastic tie for everyone involved with the club," he said.

"They don't come bigger or better than Arsenal and I'm sure the whole town of Burnley is buzzing at the news.

"I'm sure we'll have Turf Moor sold out and we want the fans to be loud and make this a difficult tie for Arsenal.

"We will give them the utmost respect, but we will go into this game looking to make things difficult for them and, hopefully, even win the tie."
