Rovers youngster Jack Vale has signed a new long-term contract at Ewood Park.
The 18-year-old forward, a regular for Rovers’ Under-23s so far this season, has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal that will take him through to the summer of 2023.
Vale will next be hoping to make his Wales Under-21s debut having been called up for the Euro 2021 qualifier in Moldova on Friday, October 11.
Signed from TNS at the age of 14, he announced himself in the 2017-18 season, scoring a hat-trick in the FA Youth Cup against Nottingham Forest.
A versatile attacker, he signed his first pro contract in March 2018 before continuing his progress last season.
Five goals in seven Premier League 2 starts came before a goal against Burnley in the final of the Lancashire FA Senior Cup.
