CHORLEY have added midfielder Nortei Nortey to their ranks as they look to climb the National League table.
The former Dover Athletic man joins the bottom of the table Magpies after making 67 appearances on the south coast.
The 24-year-old has also had spells with Solihull Moors, Wrexham and Welling United.
Nortey spent pre-season with League Two outfit Bradford City and is relishing his new start at Victory Park.
"I’m really happy to here and can’t wait to get started," he told Chorley's website.
"I’ve heard great things about the dressing room and the management and I’m really happy to be given the opportunity at Chorley.
"I enjoyed my spell with Bradford over the summer and since then I’ve been keeping myself fit and watching my diet carefully. I feel ready to hit the ground running."
Nortey was thrust straight into action, playing the final half an hour of the 3-1 defeat at home to Barrow on Tuesday night. and being on the end of a strong challenge from Patrick Brough which could have seen the left back dismissed.
Chorley's defeat ended a three-game unbeaten run and leaves the Magpies at the foot of the table with a trip to sixth-placed Dagenham & Redbridge next up in the National League on Saturday.
