PADIHAM boss Steve Wilkes is desperate to stop the rot.
After exiting the Vodkat League Cup at the first hurdle - losing 3-0 in a replay at home to Ashton Athletic on Wednesday - the Storks have now gone eight games without a win.
But Wilkes hopes the signings of striker Will Euxton from Clitheroe and defender Paul Walker from Ramsbottom can prompt a change in fortunes at Norton United tomorrow.
"It's the longest I've gone without a win at Padiham, and probably in my managerial career," said the Padiham boss, who is expected to lose Barry Shuttleworth to Clitheroe today.
