BURNLEY were made to sweat but held on to beat Norwich 2-1 last night.
Steve Cotterill's side took the lead inside the first minute when Robbie Blake headed home Wade Elliott's cross.
And the Clarets doubled their lead two minutes later when Michael Spillane fouled Blake in the area and Andy Gray did the rest from the penalty spot.
Clarke Carlisle and Kyle Lafferty have both gone close for the home side but Norwich have had their chances with David Strihavka and Chris Brown both bringing saves out of Gabor Kiraly.
John Hartson entered the fray on the hour and set up Brown to score.
And the Clarets had Gabor Kiraly to thank for keeping Jamie Cureton's late chance out.
