STANLEY striker Roscoe Dsane said his cheeky winning goal against Macclesfield Town was all about entertaining the fans.
The former AFC Wimbledon frontman has come under fire after stooping down on all fours to head the ball home from two yards.
But he said there was no malice intended.
"It's something that I've wanted to do for a little while, I didn't mean any harm by it," he said.
"I've never done anything like it before and I haven't seen anything like it before.
"It's supposed to be an entertaining sport and that was the whole reason behind it."
However, Dsane, who has scored four league goals for Stanley since signing in the summer, revealed it was a trick even fellow striker and Reds boss John Coleman wouldn't have contemplated.
He added: "I didn't speak to him about it after the game, but when I went into training he said he wouldn't have done it because he would have been too scared with so many defenders around.
"It's just a bit of banter."
