Burnley boss Steve Cotterill urged winger Wade Elliott not to shy away from going for goal himself.
"Wade doesn't score enough for me, but he's like one of those old-fashioned wide right players, when he sometimes gets it into his head that he's a provider and provider only," Cotterill said.
"He strikes a good ball, he can dribble past people and I think he should make more of his opportunities.
"The strike he had on Saturday (in the first half) was fantastic.
"From where we are, we don't know how wide it's gone, other than to say the keeper was absolutely rooted and would have had no chance of saving that."
