FORMER Burnley goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has signed for Helsingborg on a two-year deal through to the 2021 season.
The Danish international will be managed by ex-Celtic star Henrik Larsson at his new club.
Lindegaard signed for Burnley in September 2017 after being released from Preston North End.
He made his debut almost a year later after coming on for the injured Nick Pope in the Clarets' Europa League second qualifying round match in Aberdeen.
The goalkeeper played 19 Premier League games and featured in both the Champions League and the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup.
"It feels very good. I know the fans are fantastic, that the arena is nice and that Helsingborg breathes football," said the goalkeeper.
"With what I want and what the club wants, it feels like a perfect match. I know how important culture is in football.
"It's not just about skills and how far you can run, it's about a culture where you want to play for each other, for the club and for wanting to perform. I look forward to getting started with training and matches."
Former Manchester United, Celtic, Barcelona and Sweden striker Henrik Larsson will manage the former Claret.
"Anders is a seasoned goalkeeper who most people know about. He is a very good goalkeeper with long experience of top football in England which complements our goalkeeper crew in a good way," says head coach Henrik Larsson.
