CLITHEROE will have to travel to Lancaster tomorrow for a replay after a goalless draw in this FA Trophy match.
Few chances were created by either side in an even first half and the second half continued in the same vein until Clitheroe were reduced to 10 men late on.
Kieran Fletcher was sent off for pulling down a Lancaster player as he ran clear on goal and the resulting free-kick was easily saved by keeper James Mann.
A series of substitutions then followed and the Blues stormed forward and had plenty of goal-mouth action, but could not get the ball in the net.
The visitors had a couple of good chances on the break to nick the game themselves, but a late drive flew narrowly over the bar.
