CONGLETON Town got off to a flier in this match and were ahead after just four minutes when Matt Haddrell headed home from just outside the six-yard box.
It was just reward for the striker who was denied in the first minute by Paul Horridge in the Bacup goal.
Tony Carroll and David Luker both had chances for the home side and Adam Wilkes cleared a Luker header off the line just minutes before the half-time break.
On 56 minutes Stuart Shepherd had an excellent opportunity to level proceedings, but he was denied by an excellent last-ditch tackle as he was about to pull the trigger.
And from that move, Town burst up field and doubled their lead, Jordan Johnson scoring in off the far post.
Andy Hurst added a third for the Bears with 20 minutes to go to seal the victory.
It ended a miserable afternoon for Borough.
