Rovers goalkeeper David Raya has completed his move to Brentford.
The Spaniard has been the Bees’ number one target to replace Daniel Bentley after the Griffin Park goalkeeper left for Bristol City.
The interest first came to light in May but has been firmed up in recent days and Raya has moved for an undisclosed fee, reportedly around the £3 million mark.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract in West London.
Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has made no secret of wanting to improve his goalkeeping department over the summer, a more experienced Championship keeper always on his wishlist, and it appears allowing Raya to depart has been seen as helping to make that happen.
The Barcelona-born keeper joined the Rovers academy in 2012 and signed a professional contract two years later.
In all he has made 108 appearances for the club, 46 of those coming last season.
