Robbie Savage has been labelled Blackburn's 'unsung hero'.
Savage is expected to be in the starting line-up to face Reading tomorrow as Rovers aim to make it five wins on the spin.
He will come face to face with Royals defender Liam Rosenior, who was shown a straight red card after shoving Savage to the ground on the final day of the 2004/05 season when he was with Fulham.
But the 23-year-old believes Savage is one of the players Reading will most fear as they travel from Berkshire.
Rosenior admitted: "Robbie's an easy target because he stands out and does his job.
"As a midfield player he breaks so much of the play up and gets under people's skin. That's the way he is and he enjoys it. That's what he thrives on and that's what makes him such a good player.
"He's someone we have to look out for if he plays on Saturday. Hopefully I won't get sent off again!
"During the game you are against each other, but afterwards you get on with people. He's a good lad off the pitch. I get on with him. He's under-rated.
"People look at him on the pitch and don't realise what he does for a team."
On the red card incident, Rosenior said: "It was a deserved straight red because I pushed him in the chest.
"I was young. I'd only played a few games in the first-team and when you are that age you become too emotional in games."
He added: "You have handshakes after the game, but he had a smile and a little wink in the following match because he knew he got me."
"I lost at Ewood 2-0 last season. It's a tough place to go.
"Blackburn are sixth in the league and are going to be looking forward to the game as much as we are."
