Colne came from two goals down to take the points at Atherton Collieries.
The home side raced into an early lead with Waterworth and Bina netting on 15 and 23 minutes respectively.
But then came the Colne revival.
Cunningham pulled a goal back before the break, and then Irwin equalised on 71 minutes.
Then the visitors really went for the jugular, and Cunningham grabbed his second - and the winner - with eight minutes remaining.
