ROVERS striker Maceo Rigters says he would consider a loan move away from Ewood Park as he strives for first team football.
Manager Mark Hughes beat off a host of clubs to capture the signature of the Dutch star after his impressive performances in the Euro Under-21 Championships.
Rigters, who scored a dramatic late equaliser in the semi-final against England, won the tournament's Golden Boot after scoring four goals in five games before securing his dream move to the Premier League from NAC Breda.
But the Dutch star, who played for the Dutch Under-21 side in Estonia last night, has found his first team chances limited behind the likes of Roque Santa Cruz, Benni McCarthy, Matt Derbyshire and Jason Roberts and has made just one start - in the Intertoto Cup win over MyPa-47 at Ewood Park - and two substitute appearances.
And the 23-year-old said he would be willing to consider a loan move if he doesn't break into the Rover first team soon.
He said: "If don't get into the first team, I want to see the club loan me out as soon as possible. But I am not thinking about that yet.
"Hughes told me that I have simply been unlucky and that the other strikers are doing so well. So who knows? I might be playing games in a couple of weeks.
"Of course that is frustrating, but there are some very good players before me and when the club wins four games in a row, you know that you still have to wait for a chance."
Rovers chairman John Williams told the Lancashire Telegraph that a loan move was something that the club could consider in the future although nothing was imminent.
He said: "That's a discussion for Mark Hughes but it's a possibility.
"I know Mark is very happy with him, and he's happy at the club, but if it was felt that it was in the best interests of the players' development then we may consider it.
"We had numerous discussions about whether we should let Paul Gallagher go out on loan and we felt that it was, at least until January.
"It's just about grabbing opportunities and it's a consequence of having a good squad but also not having many injuries."
