STANLEY boss John Coleman is challenging his players to emulate their success at Bradford as they face Dagenham and Redbridge on Sunday.
After an up and down week, which saw Stanley beat Bradford 3-0 at Valley Parade before losing at home against Wrexham on the Friday, Coleman has revealed his frustrations in the lack of consistency from his team.
But Coleman was in bullish mood ahead of the trip to the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Council Stadium as they aim to get back to winning ways.
He said: "It's like being strapped into a rollercoaster at the moment - it's just that you don't have to pay to go on our one as manager.
"It's very frustrating. The only plus side is that it makes the highs really high. On the flip side, it makes the lows really low.
"It won't be for the lack of trying. Myself, Jimmy and the Accrington staff feel it really badly when we don't perform. The players do as well. We have a chance to get the players away at the weekend and hopefully they can turn in a good performance.
"It's been frustrating. We're always striving to try and get that consistency. Me and Jimmy (Bell) speak about that on a daily basis."
After the defeat against Wrexham, Stanley lie 14th in League Two with three defeats and three wins in the last six games.
But Coleman is confident that his side has what it takes to make a big noise in the division.
He added: "The teams who are most consistent are the ones who are nearer the top.
"That doesn't mean to say that on any given day you can't beat those teams but they're turning in more solid performances on a more consistent basis.
"I've never made a secret of the fact that I'd just like a consistent run of performances. Then, results will take care of themselves.
"But, if you keep turning in a good performance and then a bad performance eventually you're going to start losing a lot more than you win.
"You tend to lose games that you can maybe get something out of.
"The amount of goals that are conceded in our league will tell you that the defences aren't overly consistent but we've got to be focused on winning a game. If it goes to the pattern of the recent game then we're going to win at the weekend. That's the way you've got to put a positive spin on it."
Apart from Kenny Arthur (broken leg) and Ian Craney (hamstring), Stanley have another couple of injury concerns.
Roscoe Dsane hurt his shoulder in training and is a major doubt and Shaun Whalley pulled his hamstring in the reserves on Thursday night and will miss out.
