FRED Carter is appealing for a sponsor so that he can continue to represent the County darts team.
The Accrington-based darter, nicknamed the Jolly Green Giant, has played for Lancashire for the past 12 years but fears it will all come to an end if he can't find a backer to stump up the £280 needed to pay for travel and accommodation costs.
Any local company who can come up with a funding package will get their emblazoned on Carter's shirt and also in the home match day programme.
Carter, who helped Lancashire to victory in the opening home game against Hampshire, wants to continue his association with the county team.
"I've been a part of the county set-up for more than a decade and I would love to continue to play for them," said Carter who is in a rich vein of form having won a string of competitions on the local circuit.
Anyone who can help should contact Fred Carter on 01254 384318 or Bruce Bonniface at the Lancashire Darts Association on 01524 412533.
