England have drafted Lancashire fast bowler Jimmy Anderson into their ICC World Twenty20 squad as a replacement for Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara.
Bopara suffered a minor fracture in his right thumb during the NatWest Series defeat to India at Headingley and was ruled out for between four and six weeks.
With other injury niggles affecting the squad there may be further changes to the party which flies to South Africa on Sunday but for now the selectors have chosen to bolster the fast bowling unit for the two-week tournament.
