Rovers have announced that Academy duo Lewis Thompson and Lewis Mansell have joined National League North side FC United of Manchester on loan.
The pair will spend the next month with the Broadhurst Park club, with their deals running to October 6.
The Red Rebels are currently bottom of the table with just one win from their opening seven matches.
They could make their debuts when FC United of Manchester host Southport tomorrow.
Left-back Thompson signed his first professional deal with Rovers in March which runs to next summer.
Thompson joined from Manchester United at the start of the 2016/17 season and the teenager was a regular with Billy Barr’s Under-18s side last term.
Striker Mansell meanwhile extended his stay at the club by a further year in the summer.
The 20-year-old scored seven times for the Under-23s last season having been prolific throughout the Rovers age groups.
They follow Lewis Hardcastle (Port Vale), Matty Platt (Accrington Stanley) and Scott Wharton (Lincoln City) in heading out on loan.
