CLITHEROE'S Mark Young has clinched the Mitsushiba Northern Order of Merit title with three events still to play.
The 26-year-old builder cemented his place at the top of the table by finishing fourth in the Ingham Memorial Trophy at Rossendale, to take his points haul to a massive 1,015.
The plus two Longridge member, whose efforts this season earned him a place in the Lancashire County side, is 515 ahead of nearest challenger Paul McFerran, of Childwall.
