ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has made a deadline-day swoop for Ross County defender Sean Webb.
The 23-year-old Northern Ireland international has signed a contract until the end of 2007, with a view to extending that next year.
Webb, who is a central defender, travelled to America with the Northern Ireland squad last year and came on as a sub in their 0-0 draw with Wales earlier this year.
However, a spokesman for Stanley, said: "There will be a short delay before Sean can make his debut as the club must now wait for international clearance and he is also expected to be involved in Northern Ireland's European Championships.
