FORMER Rovers striker Shabani Nonda has signed for Turkish giants Galatasaray from AS Roma.
The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Ewood Park and managed a seven-goal haul in 29 games.
Nonda was linked with moves to several European clubs but Galatasaray were the only team to have met Roma's financial demands.
Galatasaray have paid nearly £1m to own full rights to Nonda and he will now look to develop a striking partnership with veteran hitman Hakan Sukur.
"I feel proud to play for such a great club," said the DR Congo international.
"I couldn't get enough playing time at Roma and really wanted to come to Galatasaray."
