BACUP manager Brent Peters is staring at a horrendous absentee list that includes 10 first-team players who will be missing for their match away to Atherton Collieries tomorrow.
Peters, who watched his side slump to a 5-0 defeat during the week, said: "The most frustrating thing about all this is that it's only the start of the season.
"I'm sure me or one of my staff must've gone over a black cat, because the bad luck we're having is unbelievable.
"You sign quality players in the summer and then, for one reason or another, they can't play.
"I've never known anything like it."
