BLACKBURN Rovers struggled to break the deadlock in their UEFA Cup second qualifying round second leg tie against Finnish side MyPa-47.
Rovers went into the match at Ewood Park aiming to extend their unbeaten run to 13 matches stretching back to last season.
Holding a 1-0 lead from the first leg, Rovers came close to doubling their aggregate advantage in the 11th minute.
Tugay slipped a clever ball through to Brett Emerton who played it across the area for Jason Roberts.
Roberts was perfectly positioned at the far post but from close range sent his effort wide of the target.
Rovers kept up the pressure and, two minutes later, Aaron Mokoena rattled in a shot from the edge of the area.
It was spilled by MyPa goalkeeper Janne Korhonen but he recovered in time to prevent Maceo Rigters, making his full Rovers debut, taking advantage.
The former NEC Breda striker was one of five changes made from the weekend's draw against Everton.
