BACUP'S injury list continues to grow as they lost to early pace-setters Flixton.
Defender Wayne Jopson hurt himself in the warm-up and had to be replaced after 15 minutes, but by that time Borough were already a goal down when Paul Riley, on-loan from Curzon Ashton, dallied and his former Curzon team-mate Steve Moore nipped in to score.
Lee Oldham came closest to getting Bacup back on terms but, after the break, Bryan Herbert's miss from a yard proved to be costly.
Jack McGregor produced a superb stop at the other end but Bacup can count themselves unlucky.
