ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has threatened to wield the axe if his players don't buck their ideas up at both ends of the pitch.
Stanley slumped to their third successive defeat at Lincoln City on Saturday, and Coleman pointed to a lack of cutting edge up front and sloppy defending as reasons for his side's poor start.
The Reds chief, whose side have only scored one goal in four games so far this term, said: "That's three games without a goal and it's a worry.
"It's something we are going to have to address, along with our defensive frailties.
"If you're getting the two major facets wrong then there's only going to be one result - you ae going to lose games."
With Peterborough next up at the Fraser Eagle Stadium on Saturday, Coleman is still hoping to add several new faces to his squad before the transfer window shuts at midnight on Friday.
