RAWTENSTALL skipper Andy Payne revealed team spirit has catapulted his side to second in the league on the back of five straight wins.
"We have always had a good team spirit but a few weeks ago we sat down and thrashed out a few things," said Payne whose side entertain fourth-placed Bacup tomorrow.
"It has been superb ever since and has definitely helped us."
