BAXENDEN will hope they can shrug off the disappointment of losing the Ramsbottom Cup final by keeping their Senior League title challenge on track this weekend.
But they will have to be at their best to combat the fire of Great Harwood pro Jermaine Lawson as Baxenden visit The Cliffe tomorrow.
Cup winners Blackburn Northern, who are just seven points behind Baxenden, will be looking to take advantage of any slip as they host Clitheroe.
Fixtures: Blackburn Northern v Clitheroe, Earby v Settle, Edenfield v Barnoldswick, Great Harwood v Baxenden, Read v Oswaldtwistle Immanuel, Ribblesdale Wanderers v Cherry Tree, Whalley v Padiham.
