I COULDN'T have been more delighted for Kyle Lafferty when I'd heard he scored for Northern Ireland.
I've known him ever since he came to Burnley a couple of years ago. He's a terrific lad and deserves all the success that is coming to him.
From my point of view, I would love to see him at Turf Moor for a few more years to come. But we know there's interest from Fulham.
It's not surprising that other clubs are taking a look at Kyle because they can spot the vast potential.
He's an old-fashioned centre-forward, with two good feet, and excellent in the air.
He's got a smashing physique, plus he's got quite a bit of pace about him for a big lad. A lot of managers cry out for a striker like that.
And Kyle, at such a young age, is only going to get better and better. We are quite lucky to have him on our books.
